Alternative Daily Schedule

 

Cancellation

Students- Enjoy a safe snow day.  Catch up on missing work.

Teachers- In the event school is canceled, the Superintendent will determine if any school-sponsored events are possible later in the day/evening.  That decision will be made only by the Superintendent and communicated to the necessary stakeholders.  (In the event that school-sponsored activities can take place, it should have an "optional" designation.  No child should be punished if they cannot make it to that activity.)

Teachers-If you cannot be present, a sick day/personal day should be requested in FrontLine

 

Students-Student are required to participate in Google Class Meets during the first 10-15 minutes of each class period and complete assigned work for the day.  

  • Student work for the day will be posted in Google Classrooms (Should be on track with regular lesson plan)
  • Link for Google Meets and contact options are posted for each class period in Google Classrooms
  • Teachers will be available for Google Meets to deliver instruction for the first 10-15 minutes and will remain available for the remainder of the class according to the following schedule:
    • 1st Period: 7:55-8:56
    • 2nd period: 9:00-9:55
    • 3rd period: 9:59-10:54
    • 4th period/RTI: 10:58-11:43
    • 5th period: 11:47-1:10
    • 6th period: 1:15-2:10
    • 7th period: 2:15-3:10   
 
  • Teachers will collect samples of student work submission and use this for attendance (no posting attendance in IC)/participation and grading purposes. 
  • Each period should contain a direct instruction portion (first 10-15 minutes), student activity, and student work submission.  The teacher should be available via google meet or email during the class time.  
  • Teachers will submit participation data and work samples to the instructional coach via google docs.
